The Tigers (5-1, 1-0) earned the win in front of 3,000 fans at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Auburn, the third straight bowl victory for the Tigers.
The win moved the Tigers (8-2, 3-1) to 6-0 in bowl games.
They are also 1-1 against the Crimson Tide in bowl contests.
Troy Williams was held to one rushing touchdown on 14 carries, but he had six receptions for 113 yards and two touchdowns and also added two catches for 22 yards.
The senior quarterback completed 16 of 31 passes for 208 yards and a touchdown and ran for another score.
He also had three receptions for 53 yards.
Junior center Alex Balducci had his third career 300-yard rushing effort, totaling 153 yards and three touchdowns.
He had seven receptions for 107 yards and one touchdown.
The Crimson Tide (3-4, 1/2) lost its fifth straight game, falling to No. 12 LSU 23-10 on Saturday.
It is the first time since 2011 that the Tigers lost three straight games, the first coming against Mississippi State in 2014.

Senior linebacker James Burgess made three tackles, including a sack, for a loss of one yard.
Burgess has started eight games this season, starting all eight games at center.

Rice was shut out in the first quarter for the third consecutive game.
